About the role
Mondzo is a Montreal studio that sells custom web, commerce, and private AI — not a product with a demo link. We need a freelance sales director who can open doors, qualify, and close retainers the team can actually deliver.
The role is 100% remote. You must be able to work from Canada — there is no office to report to. Pay is commission only on closed work — no hourly draw, no salary.
If your book is inbound SaaS only, this is the wrong posting. If you have closed bilingual service work in Québec or Canada, write.
What you'll own
Québec and Canada pipeline
Fill a real pipeline for a Montreal studio — hospitality, wellness, clinics, and mid-market teams that need bilingual work.
Discovery that qualifies
Run the first call, separate a real brief from a fishing expedition, and bring the founder in when the work is real.
Proposals and retainers
Write offers the studio can deliver. Custom web, Shopify, apps, and private AI — not a rate card you invent.
Close and hand off
Get the signature, set expectations, and hand the account to delivery without ghosting the client.
What we need to see
Closed deals
You can name recent wins, ACV, and cycle time. Activity metrics without revenue are not the brief.
Studio selling
You have sold services or retainers — agencies, consultancies, or custom build shops — not only inbound SaaS demos.
Bilingual EN/FR
Québec buyers switch language mid-call. You can run discovery in both, or say clearly which one you own.
Proposals
You write the offer. No sales-ops team, no 12-slide deck factory.
Commission only
No hourly draw and no salary. You earn when you close — and you are comfortable with that.
